I want a siding on my layout. A siding gives me more options
for operating my trains. I have come this idea a bit closer and I have chosen to go with a
factory from Faller. I think the building has a size that fits my idea well and it has some
visual interest.
The Märklin and Trix new items 2017 is a treat for the
fans of the modern eras. From era IV to era VI with an emphasize on era VI. Being an era V fan
myself I did not find that much that I desperately need, but I did find a few items.
The PIKO new items 2017 is out and what an awesome line
up this year. If you are into the modern railway as I am, you will find lots of potential
candidates for this year's investments. I have selected a few highlights that caught my
attention.
What is the best thing you can do for your model
railway scenery? My answer is: Paint your rails. I see lots of layouts with stunning scenery but
nobody cared to paint the rails. It just takes away some of the realism. If not doing anything
else, at least I can paint the rails. So this is what I did.
